Mindful Marathon – Costa Brava An All-Day Hike & Personal Growth Experience
If you’re in the midst of a transition right now, I’d love to invite you to join me and a handful of like-minded people for once-in-a-lifetime event that will help you lay the foundations for a wonderful next chapter in your journey.
The Mindful Marathon is a full day of hiking, journaling, connecting, and peace. Nothing offers perspective quite like the awe of nature and the clarity of mind that comes from long physical endeavors in the company of like-minded people, all of whom have come together for the same reason: growth.
How it Works
On Saturday May 25, we’ll get on a private bus in Barcelona for a 1.5hr drive to San Feliu in Costa Brava. You’ll check into the hotel, receive your Mindful Marathon Journal, meet the team and your fellow hikers, then get a good night’s sleep. The next morning, we’ll start at dawn, and we’ll walk all day long, stopping every couple of miles to turn the focus inward, write one of twelve journaling assignments, eat something, and then continue on our way.
Each leg of the journey offers new landscapes and is framed with a specific journal assignment.
The hike takes place along the seafront paths of the epic Camí de Ronda trail, along the Costa Brava, Spain, covering 13.1 miles (half) or 26.2 miles (full marathon). This unique stretch of coastline includes sandy beaches, rocky cliffs, pine trees, lookout points, historical buildings, and long stretches of nothing. If it’s your first time to this region, you’ll fall in love; if you’ve been before, you’ll already know why we’ve chosen this destination.
While this is a marathon, it’s not a race. We’ll hike, not run, and there are no timers, no bibs, and no competition. We’ll walk together, and we’ll take our time. Our support team will take care of all the logistics, you’ll simply carry a small bag with water and snacks, so you can walk lightly and stay focused.
Let me ask you…
How many of your best memories in life involve adventure, nature, and physical activity? When you hear stories of people climbing mountains, running races, and cycling across the country, do you feel this unexplained call to adventure even though you’re not an athlete and don’t plan to become one? Lastly, do you feel like the next chapter in your life has the potential to be the best chapter yet, but you know you need to tee it up properly, take some time, and get clear on your values and goals?
If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, the Mindful Marathon might be an amazing opportunity for you, and I’m excited to invite you to join us.
