One class cannot change you. The purpose of the class is to share the how, why, and what of hamstring flexibility so you can practice in the weeks and months to come.
We often talk about “doubling” your flexibility in the first 30 days. What that really means is cutting the distance in half. So if you are six inches from your toes now, within 30 days you should get to three inches (or less) from your toes. Some people make huge gains quickly, but everyone has steady, noticeable gains month on month.
Yes, these are long-hold, passive poses. They are super intense and very effective. I’ll show you modifications for all levels.
I’m a very consistent teacher, so if you’ve trained with me at any time in the past, you will for sure hear echoes of past teachings and some of the poses will be familiar. That said, I do not have a hamstrings-only challenge or class, so you should find at least 75 precent to be totally new.
