#8. ENTERTAINMENT
Social Media, TV/Netflix, Theater, Video Games, Gambling, Books

“If you are on social media, and you are not learning, not laughing, not being inspired or not networking, then you are using it wrong.”

– Germany Kent

Entertainment today is amazing, and on-demand film and television makes the experience richer than ever; but it can easily turn into an obsession and an unhealthy escape.

The average person has 5 social media accounts and spends 1 hour and 40 minutes per day browsing.

The average person watches 35+ hours of television per week.

If you’re a gamer, it’s often a part time job.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT: Think about your entertainment consumption habits. Do they feed you or bleed you? It’s probably not a yes or no question, it’s probably a matter of selection.

TIP: focus on you and your life only, forget about what other people do. How do you want to live your life? What role do you want entertainment to play?
