Artichokes With Green Peas

Ingredients:

8 artichokes

1 1/3 cups (200 g) fresh green peas

1 1/3 cups (200 g) onion

1 1/3 cups (200 g) red pepper

3 garlic cloves

1 cup (240 ml) natural tomato sauce

3 tbsp (45 ml) olive oil

½ lemon juice

pure crystal sea salt

STEP 1

It would be perfect if all the ingredients came from organic farming.

STEP 2

Put regular water on a big bowl and add the lemon juice. Reserve.

STEP 3

Clean the artichokes, quarter and place them inside the lemony water.



STEP 4

Slice the garlic cloves, onion and red pepper.

STEP 5

Water and clean the fresh green peas.

STEP 6

In a cooking pot place the olive oil, onion and pepper, add salt to taste and sauté over medium heat for 10 minutes

STEP 7

Add garlic, artichokes and green peas and sauté for 5 minutes more.



STEP 8

Add the natural tomato sauce, 2 cups (500 ml) of the lemony water and salt to taste.



STEP 9

High heat until it boils, then turn down the heat, cover and allow them to cook for 30 minutes over low heat.

STEP 10

Serve warm.
